“ We just stopped by for late lunch after camping. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. We had different tacos but my favourite one was the lengua (tongue) tacos. I am mexican and this place is authentic and super tasty! Wish we had mexican food like this in Calgary ”

“ This food was incredible! The food was the best Mexican food I’ve had in so long it was perfect and the portion sizes were big and priced very well! Our waitress was such a sweetheart and very helpful. We were seated right away and the food came fast after we ordered! The atmosphere, decor and music was so much fun as well, they had the best music and it made for a great experience. Definitely a 10/10 but the food’s authenticity was definitely the highlight, especially the different salsas they had. The bathrooms were small and nothing special but cleaned well. ”

Yesterday we wanted to try the nachos and it was so good! It did not disappoint. I want to go back already! If I could put 10 stars, I would! “ A wonderful family restaurant that has friendly staff and even better food. I've been several times now and they have not disappointed yet. Their tacos are the best I've had anywhere, their salsa is delicious, and their pico de gallo is always fresh and bright. This most recent time the tacos came on a board with extra toppings like pineapple and radish which was a nice addition. The atmosphere has definitely evolved since they first opened with what I assume is some traditional Mexican decorations. The music is always fun to listen to and a completely new experience for me. Everything is very clean and with seems more open than ever. This is a lovely restaurant and I hope it thrives for decades to come. I recommend it for anyone who loves bright, fresh flavours and some spice. (I also recommend the refried beans taco with pico de gallo on it). If you think salt and pepper is pushing it in the spice department and hate exposure to new food experiences then there is plenty of fast food restaurants in this town. ”

“ Great friendly service. The food was amazing and it came fairly quick. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Just finished my leftovers and it was just as good as last night. If you're craving good Mexican food, this is a must visit. ”

“ We were seated immediately. There was a lack of a drink menu, but we had looked at the photos on Google and had an idea of what we wanted. We spent $72 on drinks, that was 1 Agua Fresca, 1 beer, 1 Michelada and 3 litre-size Micheladas. You do the math. The appetizers came in relative timing, maybe 10mins. That was great! Our food didnt take much longer, considering there was a birthday party going on there and they seemed quite busy. The waitress appeared to be very busy, she barely set the food down and she would be off and running again. Overall we spent $203 for 4 adults and 1 toddler. Food tasted amazing, my only suggestion would be some mariachi music to add to the atmosphere. TLDR: Delicous food, busy staff, a bit pricey but worth it. ETA: Do not underestimate the portions. We all struggled to eat everything and eventually took home 2 FULL to-go boxes. ”
